Day 1 Arrival at Guwahati

Guwahati is the largest city in the Indian state of Assam and also the largest urban area in Northeast India.  Many ancient Hindu temples are in the city, giving it the name "City of Temples".  It is the main center for shopping, retail and business; attracting people from all over the north east as well as from Eastern Bhutan.
On arrival, meet our representative at the Airport. Check-in to the hotel. Get settled, unwind, and relax. Get acquainted with your motorcycles followed by leisure activities.

Day 2 Guwahati - Mawltnnong ride (172km, 4H 40Mins)

After the morning breakfast, the ride starts from Guwahati to Mawlynnong which takes approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes. The total distance will be approximately 172 Kilometers. On your way you can visit the cleanest village in Asia. There will be a short distance hike to living Root Bridge also. Mawlynnong/Mawlynnong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the living root bridge at a neighbouring village Riwai. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. The adage "Neighbours envy, owners pride' is apt for Mawlynnong as it has earned the distinction of being one of the cleanest villages in Asia, a fact that every Mawlynnong villager is proud of and other villagers are envy of.The village is quite pretty, especially in the monsoons when there is lush greenery all around, with waterfalls paving the way to small streams and abundance of flowering orchids dangling from the trees and hedges add to the beauty of the villageThen transfer to Areca Cottages and rest of the day for leisure activities.

Day 3 Mawlynnong - Dwaki - Cherrapunjee

After breakfast, you will start the ride to Dawk which is 35 Km from Mawlynnong and will take 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately. Dawki Integrated Check Post or Dawki border crossing is on Dawki-Tamabil is one of the few road border crossings between India and Bangladesh in West Jaintia Hills district in the state of Meghalaya,India, the corresponding post in Bangladesh is Tamabil post. Dawki ICP foundation stone was laid in January 2017 and will become operation in 2-18. It is used mainly for coal transportation to Bangladesh. Some 500 trucks cross the border every day in peak season.There you can have an optional boat ride in Umngot river. Then visit to Indo – Bangladesh boarder at Dawki - Tamabil crossing. Then the ride starts from Dawki to Cherapunjee. The ride will take approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes which will cover 85 Kilometers. Transfer to Sa-l-Mika Resort and rest of the day for leisure activities.

Day 4 Cherapunjee

Cherrapunjee is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya. The original name for this town was Sohra, which was pronounced "Churra" by the British. Meghalaya's double-decker and single-decker root bridges are unique in the world and are a sight to behold. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which have been intermingled to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time. Mawsmai caves, a few miles further away from Cherrapunjee is fast emerging as a new tourist destination. The caves, made of limestone, spellbind the visitor the moment he enters the caverns. The entrance is well lit, but as one enters further inside, the eerie ness and the mystery, starts unfolding. Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet (340 metres). The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. After breakfast, the first half of the day is for Cherapunjee sightseeing. You can visit Mawsmai caves, Nohkalikai falls, Seven sister falls etc. The second half of the day is completely for rest.

Day 5 Cherapunjee - Shillong

After morning breakfast, the ride will begin from Cherapunjee to Shillong. It will cover 54 Kilometers in 1 hour 40 minutes approximately. Shillong is the capital city of the State as well as the District headquarter of East Khasi Hills District. Shillong is the only hill station in the country that is accessible from all sides. The name Shillong is derived from U-Shyllong, a powerful deity and is situated at an altitude of 1,491m above sea level. Lady Hydari Park:It is one of the well-known attractions in Shillong. The Park is best known for beautiful bed of roses that blossom here in various colours. Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures-A three-in-one Institution combining a museum with a research and publication centre, for promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of North East India -a unique fusion of all the sister states under one roof. Ward’s Lake is a refreshing pool surrounded by beautiful gardens in the heart of the city. The serene lake and the cool shades of trees around it, makes it a nice spot for sightseeing and boating. Elephant Falls was the British name of what the local Khasi people once referred to as Ka Kshaid Lai Pateng Khohsiew (or "Three Steps Waterfalls") since the falls actually consisted of three sections in succession. The British renamed the falls because there used to be a rock resembling an elephant near the left side of the main falls (which I think was the bottommost one). However, that rock was destroyed in an earthquake back in 1897.After reaching Shillong, you can have the local sightseeing. Then transfer to Tripura Castle in Shillong. Rest of the day at hotel for relaxing.

Day 6 Shillong - Tezpur

After breakfast, the ride begins from Shillong to Tezpur. It will take cover 244 Kilometers which will take 5 hours approximately. Tezpur is the major commercial cum administrative centre of North Assam. It is also said to be the cultural capital of Assam, with many historical ruins attesting to its past. It is also a major tea and tourist centre of Assam and its scenic beauty is breathtaking, especially in the winters with the snow-capped Himalayas as its backdrop.

After reaching Tezpur, you will be transferred to Greenwood hotel aka the Fern Residency followed by leisure activities.

Day 7 Tezpur - Dirang

After morning breakfast, the ride starts from Tezpur to Dirang which will take approximately 7 hrs and cover 196 Kilometers. Dirang is a small town in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is on the bank of river Kameng (Known as Jia Bharali in Assam). Since it is at the river valley the altitude is relatively low (4900 ft). The weather here is also not very cold and pleasant during most of the year.

After reaching there, you will be transferred to Norphel Retreat followed by leisure activities.

Day 8 Dirang - Tawang

After breakfast, the ride to Tawang starts which covers 129 Kilometres in approximately 6 hours. You can have sightseeing at Sela pass, Jaswant Garh etc. After that you will be transferred to Dondrub Homestay. Then the rest of the day for leisure activities.

After the morning breakfast, you can have a local trip to Bum La Pass and Madhuri lake. The beautiful town of Tawang, also pronounced as Dawang has many sceneries to make your trip a picturesque one. However, what begins to define the area is its significance for Buddhist monks. Tawang is the place to go for monasteries, with the Tawang Monastery being the most popular one and extremely sacred for the Buddhists. Tawang is a place which will flatter you with its natural beauty wrapped in the scent of spirituality.Return to Dondrub Homestay followed by leisure activities.

Ward’s Lake is a refreshing pool surrounded by beautiful gardens in the heart of the city. The serene lake and the cool shades of trees around it, makes it a nice spot for sightseeing and boating. Elephant Falls was the British name of what the local Khasi people once referred to as Ka Kshaid Lai Pateng Khohsiew (or "Three Steps Waterfalls") since the falls actually consisted of three sections in succession. The British renamed the falls because there used to be a rock resembling an elephant near the left side of the main falls (which I think was the bottommost one). However, that rock was destroyed in an earthquake back in 1897.After reaching Shillong, you can have the local sightseeing. Then transfer to Tripura Castle in Shillong. Day 6 Shillong - Tezpur

After breakfast, the ride begins from Shillong to Tezpur. It will take cover 244 Kilometers which will take 5 hours approximately. Tezpur is the major commercial cum administrative centre of North Assam. It is also said to be the cultural capital of Assam, with many historical ruins attesting to its past. It is also a major tea and tourist centre of Assam and its scenic beauty is breathtaking, especially in the winters with the snow-capped Himalayas as its backdrop.

After reaching Tezpur, you will be transferred to Greenwood hotel aka the Fern Residency followed by leisure activities.

Day 7 Tezpur - Dirang

After morning breakfast, the ride starts from Tezpur to Dirang which will take approximately 7 hrs and cover 196 Kilometers. Dirang is a small town in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is on the bank of river Kameng (Known as Jia Bharali in Assam). Since it is at the river valley the altitude is relatively low (4900 ft). The weather here is also not very cold and pleasant during most of the year.

After reaching there, you will be transferred to Norphel Retreat followed by leisure activities.

Day 8 Dirang - Tawang

After breakfast, the ride to Tawang starts which covers 129 Kilometres in approximately 6 hours. You can have sightseeing at Sela pass, Jaswant Garh etc. After that you will be transferred to Dondrub Homestay. Then the rest of the day for leisure activities.

After the morning breakfast, you can have a local trip to Bum La Pass and Madhuri lake. The beautiful town of Tawang, also pronounced as Dawang has many sceneries to make your trip a picturesque one. However, what begins to define the area is its significance for Buddhist monks. Tawang is the place to go for monasteries, with the Tawang Monastery being the most popular one and extremely sacred for the Buddhists. Tawang is a place which will flatter you with its natural beauty wrapped in the scent of spirituality.Return to Dondrub Homestay followed by leisure activities.

Day 1 Arrival at Guwahati

Guwahati is the largest city in the Indian state of Assam and also the largest urban area in Northeast India.  Many ancient Hindu temples are in the city, giving it the name "City of Temples".  It is the main center for shopping, retail and business; attracting people from all over the north east as well as from Eastern Bhutan.
On arrival, meet our representative at the Airport. Check-in to the hotel. Get settled, unwind, and relax. Get acquainted with your motorcycles followed by leisure activities.

Day 2 Guwahati - Mawltnnong ride (172km, 4H 40Mins)

After the morning breakfast, the ride starts from Guwahati to Mawlynnong which takes approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes. The total distance will be approximately 172 Kilometers. On your way you can visit the cleanest village in Asia. There will be a short distance hike to living Root Bridge also. Mawlynnong/Mawlynnong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the living root bridge at a neighbouring village Riwai. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. The adage "Neighbours envy, owners pride' is apt for Mawlynnong as it has earned the distinction of being one of the cleanest villages in Asia, a fact that every Mawlynnong villager is proud of and other villagers are envy of.The village is quite pretty, especially in the monsoons when there is lush greenery all around, with waterfalls paving the way to small streams and abundance of flowering orchids dangling from the trees and hedges add to the beauty of the villageThen transfer to Areca Cottages and rest of the day for leisure activities.

Day 3 Mawlynnong - Dwaki - Cherrapunjee

After breakfast, you will start the ride to Dawk which is 35 Km from Mawlynnong and will take 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately. Dawki Integrated Check Post or Dawki border crossing is on Dawki-Tamabil is one of the few road border crossings between India and Bangladesh in West Jaintia Hills district in the state of Meghalaya,India, the corresponding post in Bangladesh is Tamabil post. Dawki ICP foundation stone was laid in January 2017 and will become operation in 2-18. It is used mainly for coal transportation to Bangladesh. Some 500 trucks cross the border every day in peak season.There you can have an optional boat ride in Umngot river. Then visit to Indo – Bangladesh boarder at Dawki - Tamabil crossing. Then the ride starts from Dawki to Cherapunjee. The ride will take approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes which will cover 85 Kilometers. Transfer to Sa-l-Mika Resort and rest of the day for leisure activities.

Day 4 Cherapunjee

Cherrapunjee is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya. The original name for this town was Sohra, which was pronounced "Churra" by the British. Meghalaya's double-decker and single-decker root bridges are unique in the world and are a sight to behold. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which have been intermingled to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time. Mawsmai caves, a few miles further away from Cherrapunjee is fast emerging as a new tourist destination. The caves, made of limestone, spellbind the visitor the moment he enters the caverns. The entrance is well lit, but as one enters further inside, the eerie ness and the mystery, starts unfolding. Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet (340 metres). The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. After breakfast, the first half of the day is for Cherapunjee sightseeing. You can visit Mawsmai caves, Nohkalikai falls, Seven sister falls etc. The second half of the day is completely for rest.

Shillong is the capital city of the State as well as the District headquarter of East Khasi Hills District. Shillong is the only hill station in the country that is accessible from all sides.
